International Mail Acceptance Policy Changes on Customs Declarations Effective Saturday, May 21st

Lithium Batteries are Prohibited when Mailed Internationally or to and from an APO, FPO, or DPO Location

MORE CHANGE FROM THE US POSTAL SERVICE

As of May 21, 2012 the US Postal Service will no longer accept handwritten or typed customs forms unless they are taken to the downtown Post Office. This means that you will need to go online and fill out an electronic form before sending your package, this link https://webapps.usps.com/customsforms/welcome.jsp will take you to the correct page. If you don’t know which customs form to use there is a link on the same page to help you decide. You will need to print your customs declaration and attach the copies to your package.

As always, University Mailing Services is here to help you. Contact us (x45385) with any questions or concerns you might have.
